History

Roots
In 1980, two families came from America to plant a church here in the UK. Later on in 1996 the church merged with an existing congregation to form one body.
Current Leadership
In April 2002 Ted and Dawn Lubin and their three sons, Alex, Christophe, and Nicholas became the lead couple for the congregation. The Lubins are graduates of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. USA. Their life as full time ministers started in 1990. They served as Associate Pastors at Northwest Christian Centre in Oklahoma City, and at Bible Temple in Colorado. They went to Africa with the IPHC, where they spent many years as missionaries and church planters in Cote d’Ivoire, the Indian Ocean islands and South Africa. Before coming to the UK they were part of the ministry team of The Church of The Good Shepherd, a large church in Durban South Africa relating to the New Covenant Ministries International Apostolic team.
In 2005 Peter and Sally Adams were brought unto the eldership team after serving as deacons since 2002. They have been faithful members of the church for many years. They have three married children and three grand children. In 1990 they were part of a church plant into Kings Norton and in 1991 joined a team that helped pioneer Wind Mill House, known as Betel, a drug rehabilitation centre in Kings Norton. Peter did a stint at Aston University and concluded has tertiary education at North Birmingham Polytechnic, in Perry Barr. He works full time at the microbiology lab at Queen Elisabeth Hospital.
